Summer Finally!

I'm loving the flowers in my flower garden!
We spent Father's Day at a neat zoo in Michigan. Was alot of fun because they were more hands on. It's a family run zoo that does alot of work with animal rescue also. They brought out several baby animals to share information about them and let people get up close. My daughters especially liked holding the baby lemurs and tiny chimpanzee. They also brought out a tiny badger, fox and alligator. Thats the first and last time I'll get that close to an alligator! Later brought out a 12 foot boa constrictor that they had rescued from someone in southern Wisconsin that had it as a pet at home. Was a great family day.

Is it Summer Yet??

Summer is just around the corner and I'm sure all of us that experience winter are happy! The flowers are finally blooming and the school year is winding down. Looking forward to spending time at the lake and just enjoying the more relaxed days of summer. Usually the days are very busy in my household with school and all the extra activities. I was included in a Treasury this week. Thank you, thank you!! I have quite a few "summer " type items in my etsy shop so please take a look.

April Snow Showers Bring May Flowers??

We woke to 5.8 inches of snow on Thursday morning. What a surprise! It didn't stay for long though. It had all melted by Friday afternoon. Here I am doing "Spring Shows" and old man winter still wants to make an appearance. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Bay Port show. I'll be in Kimberly on Saturday, April 17th. Happy Spring!!

Spring is Coming

Been busy making many more serving pieces in Spring colors and restocking from Christmas season. I'm also trying something new-ice tongs. I thing they look great and are doing quite well. Bay Port spring craft show is on March 27th and am looking forward to starting up the shows again.

Recently I've added a few new things to my blog. I added a gadget called "my favoite etsy shops." Every week I'll feature eight etsy shops from etsy.com that I really like. I've also added links to blogs that I like. If you click on the title, you go directly to the blog. I'll update them whenever I see a unique blog. Enjoy the new things to come!

Wine Bottle Jewels

New Ideas in the Works

All of the Christmas decorations are put away and I've been working on a few new ideas for 2010. One is wine bottle jewels that will dress up the evenings wine or champagne bottle and will compliment the beaded wine bottle stop. I'll post a picture soon and put them in my shop. Snow, ice and rain are forecast for the weekend so I'll be indoors working away. Getting my shows all in line for this year and looking forward to each one, the first I believe being at Bay Port High School. Just wanted to say thank you again to everyone for their support and sales as I start another year as Bumblebeading!
