First Day of Spring?

Well, the calendar says spring but we are all waiting for it to arrive here in Green Bay. One last snowman was made to commemorate the winter of 2008. We ended up with over 80 inches of snow this winter! Working on spring colors hoping that will help the season to arrive! I know it's got to be just around the corner.

Weekend of Music

Just spent the weekend at Solo and Ensemble for middle and high school kids. Both of my daughters entered. One competed with her violin, the other did a number on the piano. It was the first competition for my 12 year old so she had butterflies, but did great. It was a day packed with music and many many talented kids. I love how all those kids were so wrapped up in their music and strived for their best. They truly enjoy music! FYI-my daughters did very well on their pieces.
Working on a few serving pieces for an auction and thinking spring even though we just had 8 and 1/2 inches of snow last night! When will those snowbanks disappear!
